Small-School Attention

Students are known, supported, and encouraged every day. Our small-school setting helps teachers build strong relationships with each child, understand how they learn best, and respond quickly when they need extra help or a bigger challenge. Families also appreciate the close communication and the welcoming community that comes from a smaller campus. The best way to feel this for yourself is to visit during a campus tour.

Strong Foundations

A strong start matters. We focus on the core skills students need to thrive, including reading, writing, math, and critical thinking. Our teachers emphasize steady progress, good study habits, and confidence in the classroom. As students grow, we help them apply these skills through projects, presentations, and real learning that prepares them for the next level. We'd love to show you what learning looks like in your child's grade when you visit.

Faith in Everyday Learning

Faith is not just a class, it’s part of how we learn and live together. Students are encouraged to grow in character, kindness, and responsibility while building a personal connection with God. Through worship, Bible-based values, and daily interactions, we aim to help students make thoughtful choices, serve others, and lead with integrity. Families often notice the difference in our campus culture right away when they step onto campus.

A place that feels like family

Families often tell us the difference is the atmosphere. families don’t just enroll, they belong. Our community is built on meaningful relationships between students, parents, teachers, and staff. We celebrate wins together, support one another through challenges, and create traditions that students remember for years. Parent involvement is part of what makes our campus thrive, and there are many ways to plug in at a level that works for your family.

"I recommend [WCHAS] wholeheartedly. One of the biggest strengths is the teacher-to student ratio. I'm especially impressed with how the teachers skillfully teach multiple grade levels while still meeting standards and helping each student grow academically.

What makes this school even more special is the strong sense of community. Having a church and school family that supports guides students is incredibly important to us, and we have genuinely felt loved and welcomed by the church members.

The partnership between parents and staff is also unmatched. It's inspiring to see families working together with the school to accomplish shared goals. And the dedication of the Home & School team and music teachers is absolutely amazing--many of them give their personal time to pour into our students, and it shows.

Thank you, West Covina Adventist School, for an exceptional five years. We are truly grateful."
